A weekly haul

So it has been silent here, partly my fault but mostly a lack of packages. I got one Tuesday and it was something we seen before so I was like “I rather wait until more packages”. That didn’t happen until Saturday when 2 more packages hit the floor. Why I am posting this on a Monday? Because I was lazy this weekend and the mailman doesn’t deliver on Sunday or Monday. Anyway enough excuses, on to the packages

This was the Tuesday package. The package comes from china thanks to Nicky Wang. Inside is another one of them Attack on Titan key-chains. It’s a cool item, and I was using the other one but not sure if I want to decorate my key-chain with more hangers then keys. But it didn’t earn it’s own post.

The first of the Saturday packages comes form our old palls Ding Dong Feng. With again the really cool looking Bleach necklace. This even deserves less of a own posts then the previous packages. Not that I am dispointed with the item, but I got nothing more to say.

Luckily I saved the best for last.

This package comes from Andy, a name we have seen before. Thanks Andy, I really like what’s inside.

It’s a pin, or a badge.not sure what the proper term is. Of One Piece star Captain Luffy. I like both the art style, which is more chibi like and less like the anime and the fact it’s something I haven’t gotten before. The giant grin and the victory v-fingers add to the awesomeness of the whole thing. It’s one happy Luffy and if I ever had a reason I would be happy to were this.

But yeah, this is the second week it was quiet on the package front. A lot of packages most be stuck in package limbo and I am afraid any day I will get like 10 packages and will never be able to post them all. But for now the problem is that is boring here, I hope for more soon.

Twin Packages

Today’s packages came separate but looking from the packages you couldn’t tell, they look like twins. Also they are both from Ding Dong Feng and both contain Anime themed jewelry. Because that’s what I wanted when I added an anime tag.

The first package contains a “finding” and the second “an adorn article” other then that, they are eerily the same.

First up is that finding.. which turns out to be

An Attack on Titan bracelet. It looks neat, has a cool band and the symbol is spot on, with again the Chinese I cannot translate. I would even wear this if I could open and close it with one hand.

Sorry for the cropped picture, I needed to tilt it to make the clasp visible on the picture but my gigantic hand was distraction. It is a symbol clasp, but it does require nimble fingers. How can people do that with one hand?

The adorn article is another necklace.

The package looks like something you find on a store, but the fact it has 4 different anime on it makes me suspect. I don’t think this ever hang in a shop. But because of that I did realize this was an anime themed necklace, I wouldn’t have regonized this one as anime otherwise.But first a close up of that piece of cardboard, because the sun ruined it.

If you can’t tell or don’t know the 4 characters are Naruto from Naruto, Ichigo from Bleach, Lufi from One Piece and Unknown dude with burning hair… I think it’s from Beyblade or some other toy based anime… I seriously don’t know.

The text under the hanger states “potentia regere” which is hard to read even without the fact my camera cannot zoom on it properly. For some reason is the p is all twisted up. Yet this was the clue to the anime behind it. Which is Kuroshitsuji, or Black butler, another show I have seen. But this symbol didn’t stuck in my mind.

I also like that nice necklace has large chains, like really large, but that adds a piece of rope so the heavy iron is scrape on your neck. It’s a cool piece of jewelry at least.

For a bad hair day

I am unsure if this happened to the anime/manga tag, or this is just random… either way… I don’t know… Why did this happen to me? Wait, let’s start at the beginning.

The package is a large one, folded double. Lot’s of Chinese, so I can’t read any sender information. It’s another one from Ding Dong Feng. We know this stuff. Like yesterday the item description caught my eye… “wigs*1″… This flat plastic bag apparently contained a wig? That also my be why this is anime, cosplay, or it might be random. I seriously have no clue.

The wig in question?

A hairnet (or wig cap)… To put under a wig so your real hair won’t show. Either way it makes a really weird and boring picture. It doesn’t look like a hairnet at all, more like an old sock. Also it has holes at both sides… not sure if that is intentional or not. I guess this could be tagged as cosplay, which in return could be tagged as anime.

Still. Now I own a hairnet. Why.

Nekomimi

Yeah so yesterday’s update got cancelled due a dropbox error. And I am too sick to double update (if I hadn’t missed yesterday I wouldn’t be updating today…) Two more packages arrived today too, so it’s slowly piling up again (5 packages in the queue). But enough of the boring site update schedule. Onwards to the attack of packages.

Today is a normal eying package from our beloved Ding Dong Feng. But the moment I picked it up I heard a sound. It was the sound of a tiny bell (also known as a jingle bell). The package says inside is a cosplay set… wait what… an entire cosplay outfit in a tiny bag? With bells! Evening opening the package it took me a moment to realize what this was.

These are cat ears, famous Japanese cat girl ears.I assume these arrived under the anime/manga tag because catgirls are so anime. I guess these are just generic ones, with bells and whistles.

What is really hard to see is the hairclip hidden inside, which you see to attach these to your hair.

I do lack the courage of posting images of me wearing cat ears on the Internet, so sadly no demonstration pictures. I do like the idea, although these cheap ears are already loosing hair. If they survive till Halloween I might wear them… but not a day earlier!

Attack on Titan

Today another double feature (and again I missed a day). These two packages arrived together and have the same theme.

A boring envelope, telling us not a lot. Well its an Adorn article which means jewelry.

That is a Attack on Titan symbol, The Survey Corps, it’s a heavy and large ring, so not the type I will be wearing. But still this is very cool, I did like Attack on Titan so it’s cool to get something from a show you know. The ring also has writing at the sides, but I have no clue what it means. Second item has another boring envelop although I could read the address. No clue which part is the senders name. I think this one is thanks to Guo Xide. The envelope also spoils what is inside.

It’s indeed a Key Chain, from one of the main characters, Mikasa Ackerman. It’s made from a strange rubber-like substance and it smell rather strong, although I hope thats just the factory air and it will go away in time. It’s also rather large, but I still might wear this. Then again my Key Chain is already claimed by a “large” bat plushie.

Attack on Titan is a cool anime and although I am not the greatest fan (it’s still unfinished, but do want more, NOW) it’s cool to get some swag. I might check out the manga now too, because I do want more Attack on Titan in my live.

New Stuff, New Tags

It seems I missed a day yesterday. No worries, today will be a double feature of new stuff. Although in both cases I expected something we had seen before.

First up a simple one from all the way from Singapore, I think? It’s another one from Ding Dong Feng too, which is located in China (Beijing). So did they use a Singapore envelope to send a Chinese package from China? Who knows, I just tag this package as both.  The envelope always names this a Jewelry Accessories, but it is not.

That is a patch to iron on your clothing, I believe. With a colorful design of a tree branch in blossom. I like the colors, but it’s too pink to pimp my pants.

The second package comes from Hong Kong, thanks to Mak LingFei. This one says beads, and I was instantly reminded of all those tiny little multi colored make-your-own necklace beads. But when I opened the package I found a lump of package material.

It was a hard package to photograph and even harder to open. After some digging, destroying the protection in the process, I found.

A Tibet Agate Column Pedant Bead., so the nice little paper that is included tells us.

Although the design is simple and the material cheap, it still doesn’t remove how awesome I find this. It feels like something special. These are the packages that make my day.

Hearts and Phones

Another 3 packages arrived today, it’s getting insane with packages, the pile currently is 7 unposted packages, enough for all the way into next week. Anyways first off is today, which is two packages because I didn’t update yesterday. And to be fair these two packages aren’t that special, so they fit nicely together.

First off another electronic accessories.

This packages seems to come from JerryTrade, which I first thought was a person due it the signature being “Jerry”. This is thanks to Alex Lee. This also comes from Guangzhou in China, a large city I never heard off.

Inside is a another IPhone case, another one. This one is a abstract swirl of pretty pink and purple colors. With a plain boring backside.

The second packages comes from Yiwu, a relative small city for China. Thank to Yang LingYun.

This package spoils, it’s another Necklace.

This is has a long chain and has a double hanger. The large hanger is a small heart with an extra heart around it. Attached  to that is a smaller hanger which is another heart. So many hearts. Sadly it come slightly broken as you can see, the chain is partly detached. But that is an easy fix, even for me without the proper tools.

Still, even fixed, the hanger seems to be off balance.

Snakes on a Chain

Today we got a hastily blog, I kinda forgot to update when I had time. Also light conditions are horrible, so the picture are a bit rough on the edges. Edit: Some photo’s are better now.

Today’s Ding Dong Feng brings us a package from Gao Yong, thank you for this one, it’s a neat one.

It’s another necklace, but this one one has a recognizable symbol. That’s right, this is from Harry Potter. Sadly a typo or misprint in the named ruined it. It should say Slythering, but now it says SI.thering. Still even with that this is a cool design.

ApplePhone

Today 4 more packages hit. At first we thought there were 3, but then my mom found a 4 one that was tiny and stuck in the mail flap. That brings this weeks total to 13 packages! I will be updating throughout the next week. But onwards to todays special:

Today is a really bloated packages. I love those, they feel special. This is also another one from Ding Dong Feng, all the way from Beijng. The front sizes spoils today a bit, it tells us we have 2 adorn articles.

I was greeting by a cheery and a giant open mouth. Can you guess what these are? Well first off

This is all packaging material, a lot of stuff. Yes even the thingy with the cheery (which states IPhone 4) is just a cardboard place holder.

In case you haven’t guess it, today are two IPhone cases, for two different versions oddly. This one is the IPhone4 if the cardboard cheery is to be believed.

I am not sure if this is normal, but it seems to be partly made out of rubber rather then plastic. It’s odd and bendable, but hard to see on photo. Also the black is really shiny and reflected really well. You can see the lamp, my smartphone and a painting on the wall if you look carefully.

The other I don’t know the Iphone version off and the backside is blurry but it’s not the most interesting picture anyways.  How do I know it’s a different version? Because of the hole for the camera. Also this one is completely plastic, no rubber at all. Depicted on it is a Giraffe, although I first called it a cow due the black and white color. Also only now I noted it’s spots are in the form of hearts. I really like this cover and I feel sad for not owning a IPhone case.

No Fear, Just Love

Today, from Beijng China, it’s another package from Ding Dong Feng

 

Inside is a wad of styrofoam and inside that is a crudely packaged item. It seems odd to take some extra care for protection, but then mangle bag the item is in. Inside is a ring:

And not just any kind of ring. It’s a butterfly, which we have learned we should not fear. They only bring change. And love in this case. Also as you can see it is bended, I suspect that is on purpose for easier equipping. Then again the material is really weak and foldable, so it might be a side effect of stupid packaging.

I did do an attempt to fold it into its normal shape.
